भारत में Sovereign Agentic AI Platform हुआ उपलब्ध
Enterprise AI के तेजी से बढ़ते इस्तेमाल के बीच IBM और Yotta Data Services ने 29 सितंबर 2026 को भारतीय organisations के लिए अपने Sovereign Agentic AI Platform की general availability की घोषणा की।
दोनों कंपनियों ने मई 2026 में इस partnership की योजना सार्वजनिक की थी। अब इसका platform deployment stage में पहुंच गया है और enterprises को experimental AI projects से production-level AI agents की ओर बढ़ने के लिए infrastructure और governance layer देने का लक्ष्य रखता है।
इस पेशकश का एक प्रमुख पहलू digital sovereignty है—यानी organisations अपने महत्वपूर्ण data, AI operations और governance पर निर्धारित geographical और operational boundaries के भीतर नियंत्रण बनाए रख सकें।
IBM watsonx Orchestrate और Yotta Shakti Cloud का इस्तेमाल
Platform की technology architecture में दोनों कंपनियों की अलग-अलग क्षमताओं को जोड़ा गया है।
IBM का watsonx Orchestrate agentic control plane के रूप में काम करता है। इसका उद्देश्य organisations को अलग-अलग AI agents को deploy, secure, govern और manage करने की सुविधा देना है।
दूसरी ओर, Yotta का Shakti Cloud compute resources, GPU infrastructure, networking, security और AI workloads के लिए आवश्यक operational capabilities उपलब्ध कराता है।
इसके साथ Shakti Studio organisations को open-source और proprietary AI models को explore, fine-tune, deploy और run करने की सुविधा देता है।
Agentic AI सामान्य Generative AI से कैसे अलग है?
Generative AI आमतौर पर किसी prompt के जवाब में text, image, code या दूसरी सामग्री तैयार करता है। Agentic AI का उद्देश्य इससे आगे जाकर predefined goals के आधार पर कई चरणों वाले tasks को पूरा करना और enterprise systems के साथ काम करना है।
उदाहरण के तौर पर, किसी organisation में AI agent केवल HR policy से संबंधित सवाल का जवाब देने तक सीमित रहने के बजाय आवश्यक enterprise tools से जुड़कर workflow के अलग-अलग चरणों को coordinate कर सकता है—बशर्ते उसे उचित permissions और governance दी गई हों।
IBM और Yotta ने IT service management, HR, finance, procurement और customer support जैसे business functions को संभावित enterprise use cases में शामिल किया है।
भारत के भीतर Data और AI Operations रखने पर जोर
इस platform की सबसे महत्वपूर्ण positioning sovereignty को लेकर है।
IBM और Yotta के अनुसार, organisations platform का इस्तेमाल करते हुए data, operations और governance controls भारत में रख सकती हैं। Platform Yotta के Panvel और Greater Noida cloud regions में उपलब्ध कराया गया है।
यह पहल विशेष रूप से उन enterprises और regulated organisations के लिए प्रासंगिक हो सकती है जिन्हें data residency, security, auditability और regulatory compliance से जुड़े requirements को ध्यान में रखना पड़ता है।
हालांकि “sovereign” होने का अर्थ अपने आप यह नहीं है कि हर deployment सभी regulatory requirements को पूरा कर लेगा। वास्तविक compliance organisation के use case, data category, configuration और उस पर लागू कानूनों एवं regulations पर निर्भर करेगी।
AI Agents को Pilot से Production तक ले जाने की कोशिश
Enterprise AI में एक बड़ी चुनौती successful prototype को वास्तविक business environment में scale करना है।
एक AI agent controlled demo में प्रभावी दिखाई दे सकता है, लेकिन production deployment में identity management, access controls, security, monitoring, reliability, auditability और cost जैसे अतिरिक्त प्रश्न सामने आते हैं।
IBM और Yotta का platform इसी gap को address करने की कोशिश करता है।
watsonx Orchestrate agents की management और governance layer उपलब्ध कराता है, जबकि Shakti Cloud underlying infrastructure प्रदान करता है। इससे organisations को अलग-अलग components जोड़ने के बजाय integrated environment उपलब्ध कराने का प्रयास किया गया है।
IBM Sovereign Core भी partnership का हिस्सा
IBM और Yotta की partnership केवल agentic AI platform तक सीमित नहीं है।
मई में दोनों कंपनियों ने IBM Sovereign Core को Yotta के Shakti Cloud पर लाने की योजना भी घोषित की थी। IBM के मुताबिक Sovereign Core continuous compliance monitoring, identity, encryption, governance और controlled AI execution जैसी capabilities के जरिए sovereign environments बनाने के लिए तैयार किया गया है।
Yotta का Shakti Cloud भारत में स्थित और MeitY-empanelled infrastructure है। दोनों कंपनियों ने इसे Indian enterprises और government organisations की data-residency तथा compliance जरूरतों के संदर्भ में position किया है। Yotta
भारतीय कंपनियों के लिए यह क्यों महत्वपूर्ण है?
AI adoption अब chatbot या productivity assistant से आगे बढ़कर core enterprise workflows की तरफ जा रहा है।
जैसे-जैसे AI agents financial information, customer records, internal documents और operational systems तक पहुंचते हैं, organisations के सामने एक नया सवाल आता है—AI को अधिक autonomous बनाते हुए sensitive information पर नियंत्रण कैसे रखा जाए?
इसी कारण sovereignty, governance और security AI infrastructure के महत्वपूर्ण हिस्से बन रहे हैं।
IBM-Yotta partnership इसी मांग को target करती है: global enterprise AI technology को India-hosted cloud infrastructure के साथ जोड़ना।
Sovereign AI के साथ चुनौतियां भी रहेंगी
Local infrastructure अपने आप सभी AI risks को समाप्त नहीं करता।
Enterprise agentic AI में गलत decisions, excessive permissions, inaccurate outputs, security vulnerabilities और unintended actions जैसे risks बने रह सकते हैं। इसलिए human oversight, access controls, testing, logging और clear accountability mechanisms महत्वपूर्ण रहेंगे।
इसके अलावा organisations को यह भी देखना होगा कि sovereign infrastructure के कारण मिलने वाले compliance और control benefits operational cost, model performance और scalability requirements के साथ किस तरह संतुलित होते हैं।
इसलिए IBM-Yotta platform की वास्तविक सफलता केवल इसकी technical availability से तय नहीं होगी। महत्वपूर्ण यह होगा कि enterprises इसे production environments में कितने प्रभावी, सुरक्षित और आर्थिक रूप से टिकाऊ तरीके से इस्तेमाल करते हैं।
भारत के Enterprise AI Market में बढ़ती Sovereignty की भूमिका
IBM और Yotta की नई पेशकश एक बड़े बदलाव की ओर इशारा करती है—AI infrastructure पर चर्चा अब केवल model capability तक सीमित नहीं है।
Data कहां रहता है, model inference कहां होता है, AI agents को कौन नियंत्रित करता है और audit के समय organisation क्या evidence दे सकती है—ये सभी enterprise AI strategy का हिस्सा बन रहे हैं।
IBM और Yotta का Sovereign Agentic AI Platform इसी emerging market को address करता है। इसका प्रभाव आने वाले समय में इस बात से स्पष्ट होगा कि Indian enterprises और regulated organisations इसे कितने बड़े स्तर पर अपनाते हैं।
